PSYCHOMORPHOSIS
Prisioneros de nuestros pensamientos, llego el día en el año 2013 con los sentimientos más dementes, descubriendo con las melodías la libertad del alma y que con nuestros instrumentos se aligera la carga y se rompe un nudo en nuestra garganta.
A partir de este momento nace Psychomorphosis, es la combinación de dos palabras, psico (psycho) que es relativo a la actividad mental, morfosis (morphosis) que hace referencia a la transformación, transformación de la mente.
La música nace a partir del gusto por el rock y metal, incluyendo armonías menores, combinando ritmos folclóricos, dejándonos llevar por la cadencia atmosférica del nombre que nos identifica (Psychomorphosis).
Las líricas evocan la dualidad, la transformación, la evolución e involución de la mente humana, involucrando personajes donde muestran situaciones reales e imaginarias del ser, como individuo, como ser social y a su vez combina puntos de vista personales, curiosidad, cuestionamientos y conclusiones a partir de nuestra experiencia.
PSYCHOMORPHOSIS se formó en Bogotá, Colombia en el 2013 como proyecto musical de Yenny Luzardo (bajo) y Eduardo Barrios (guitarra y Voz Lider) , para entonces Luis Alberto Barrios entra para consolidar la actual alineación de la banda.
A mitad del año 2014, Psychomorphosis graba su primer EP, titulado, Enajenación Mental, en el estudio independiente de Eduardo Barrios (guitarrista) el cual también aporto la gran voz para este primer trabajo.
durante el 2015 y 2016 Psychomorphosis trabaja en la composición de su nuevo full length que llevara como titulo PROYECTO ESCLAVO MONARCA.
En el año 2017 la banda lanza su primer video Liryc, titulado Creación Ominosa de su trabajo EP Enajenación Mental.
Prisoners of our thoughts, the day arrived in the year 2013 with the most insane feelings, discovering with the melodies the freedom of the soul and that with our instruments the load is lightened and a knot is broken in our throat.
From this moment Psychomorphosis is born, it is the combination of two words, psycho that is relative to the mental activity, morphosis that refers to the transformation, transformation of the mind.
Music is born from the taste for rock and metal, including minor harmonies, combining folk rhythms, letting us be carried by the atmospheric cadence of the name that identifies us (Psychomorphosis).
The lyrics evoke duality, transformation, evolution and involution of the human mind, involving characters where they show real and imaginary situations of being, as individual, as social being and in turn combines personal points of view, curiosity, questioning and conclusions to From our experience.
PSYCHOMORPHOSIS was formed in Bogotá, Colombia in 2013 as a musical project of Yenny Luzardo (bass) and Eduardo Barrios (guitar and Voz Lider), then Luis Alberto Barrios enters to consolidate the band's current lineup.
In the middle of 2014, Psychomorphosis records his first EP, titled, Mental Alienation, in the independent studio of Eduardo Barrios (guitarist), who also contributed the great voice for this first work.
During 2015 and 2016 Psychomorphosis works in the composition of its new full length that will take like title PROJECT SLAVE MONARCH.
In the year 2017 the band launches its first video Liryc, titled Ominous Creation of his work EP Mental Alienation.
